NOTICE REGARDING PUBLIC PARTICIPATION AT THE EAST BAY
REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

 

The East Bay Regional Park District (Park District), with limited exceptions, holds public meetings through a hybrid platform of in-person and remote attendance to allow members of the public to participate through the Park District’s virtual platform, Zoom. The Board of Directors will participate in-person at the Park District Administrative Headquarters (2950 Peralta Oaks Court, Oakland, California) unless otherwise designated. Occasionally, members of the Board of Directors may attend remotely as permitted by the Brown Act.

Park District facilities and meetings comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. If special accommodations are needed for you to participate, please contact the Clerk of the Board as soon as possible, but preferably at least three working days prior to the meeting.

 

 

 

Public Comments May Be Submitted in Person or in One of the Following Three Ways:

 

 

1.

Via email to [email protected]. Emails must contain in the subject line “Public Comments – not on the agenda” or “Public Comments – agenda item title”. It is preferred that these written comments be submitted by 3:00 pm on the day prior to the meeting.

 

2.

Via voicemail at (510) 544-2016. The caller must start the message by stating “Public Comments – not on the agenda” or “Public Comments – agenda item title” preferably followed by their name and place of residence, followed by their comments. It is preferred that these voicemail comments be submitted by 3:00 pm on the day prior to the meeting.

 

3. 

Live via the Zoom virtual meeting platform. The Zoom link below will let you into the virtual meeting for the purpose of providing a public comment.

 

 

 

Written comments and transcribed voicemails will be provided to the Board of Directors. All written comments received by the close of the public comment period will become part of the official meeting record. A copy of the background materials concerning agenda items, including any material that may have been submitted less than 72 hours before the meeting, is available for inspection on the Park District’s website (https://www.ebparks.org/calendar/public-meetings).

Unless otherwise noted in an agenda description, all actions taken by the Board of Directors include a determination that CEQA does not apply (i.e., the action is not a project and therefore exempt from CEQA).
